Staten Island, NY (November 12, 2020) – Celerant Technology, the #1 provider of innovative retail solutions for the firearms industry, today announced a partnership with Weapon Depot, an online marketplace and auction site that connects FFL dealers with outdoor hunting enthusiasts. Through Celerant’s point of sale, dealers can upload products and manage orders on WeaponDepot.com, enabling them to expand their online market reach, while managing their entire business and compliance in a single system.
As the industry shifts to online sales, Celerant integrated with Weapon Depot so dealers can expand past their existing storefront and/or eCommerce website, and reach more customers online. Weapon Depot connects FFL dealers with thousands of buyers, and allows them to sell firearms, ammunition, accessories, and outdoor hunting products- at a fixed price or for auction. Celerant’s fully-integrated software makes it easy for dealers to manage their store, eCommerce, range, bound book, and marketplace integrations, such as Weapon Depot- all in one place.
“We are excited to partner with Celerant Technology, and help their dealers become even more profitable by helping them reach new customers. Through our eCommerce marketplace, we can connect dealers and buyers, where they can safely buy, sell and trade firearms, ammunition, accessories as well as hunting, camping, archery, fishing, and tactical gear.”
– Robert Sirianni, CEO at Weapon Depot
Celerant + Weapon Depot: How it works
Through Celerant’s eCommerce, dealers can upload products directly on WeaponDepot.com, including product names, descriptions, caliber, prices, images and inventory levels. This helps dealers save time and reduce errors by eliminating the need to manually format and upload product data. Leveraging Celerant’s department structure, products are automatically categorized on Weapon Depot’s website, making it easier for buyers to find the products they want. After an order is placed on WeaponDepot.com, the order is pulled back into Celerant’s retail software, alongside orders placed on Celerant’s point of sale and/or eCommerce platform; and inventory levels are automatically reflected across all channels. Dealers can fulfill orders with their own inventory; or route the order to their distributor for drop shipping.
“As more and more buyers shift to the online world, it is important we provide the technology our dealers need to reach those customers. At Celerant, not only do we help our brick-and-mortar dealers move into the online world with eCommerce, but we also help them further expand their reach through online marketplace integrations, such as WeaponDepot.com. We are confident this integration will help our dealers become more competitive, and increase online sales.”
– Ian Goldman President and CEO of Celerant Technology
